While on the iva theme, at time of test is it still ok to have 3 point harnesses fitted, and can they wrap over the seatbelt bar and fasten to the rear floor crossmember or can they bolt directly to the bar using a welded sleeve. I can't see to much about this in the seatbelt section in the iva manual.

No the spedo is 0.01 mph out...checked on the maitia tyre/wheel size calculater site.... the problem i have is that they are very wide so i have to chop a piece in to the stays to swing them inward slightly, at the moment they are about 3mm from the top of the tyre tread which i dont think is right and also touching the tyre wall. What i need is someone with the standard setup to measure the gap between top of tyre to underside of stay, then all i have to do is modify them.

If anyone is in the position to measure the gap from top of tyre tread to underside of wing stay, i have bigger wheels so have to modify the length of the stay bars, but i need something to work to please.

I cant really see you having any problems with it, i rode and raced bikes for many years both new and home built, in all types of weather, only got caught out once with water, and that was a ferry cancellation to the Isle of Man, lol.

Tomaff is correct, i blanked mine off with a bolt up the pipe, i cut the pipe down short so it didn't need tethering, and used the bracket it was attached to for all my earth wires.
