Hi, The Speedo reading is fine easy to read in strong sun or at night, it took a while to set up but I booked an MOT before the IVA (which gave me a chance to adjust the speedo) and it over read by about 10% so just what I wanted.

Hi Bob, my Replicar is set up as above but it was a mk2.5 from 2002 so only had 1 fuel line to the engine when it came from the factory. I've got a feeling both of the photos you posted might be mk 2.5's but am happy to be proved wrong.

I had 30 psi front and rear for the IVA to help the self centering. I've now got 23psi all round and it drives a lot better. I've still got to get my geo set up but I'm waiting for some spacers from Freaky Parts before I get that done.

Hi, I IVA'd my Replicar last month and got my plates back in just over 2 weeks, they must be going through a quiet period.
I had my build insurance with Adrian Flux, I rang to change it to driving insurance as I drove to the IVA and they wanted over £280! I rang around and went with Footman James which cost me less than £170 fully comp.

I didn't have one on my Replicar for IVA and it wasn't a problem.

Probably the wettest day for the last 8 weeks, still at least I know my skin is waterproof.

If you check page 3 of Stewart's (MEV) build blog at the top of the Replicar section he's got a really good photo of what you want to achieve.

If anyone is thinking of using the same dash gauge the this is the wiring I used to get it working, this is for a Mk 2.5: The wiring I used for the savage switches was as below, by using different resistors you can adjust the brightness when the lights are on but they will light at full brightness when the switch is turned on: upload pictures to website

Hi, if you block off the vent above the filler pipe, you will probably have to put up with a very slow filling tank as it's there to let air out of the tank while filling. Best bet is to weld a small pipe just below the filler cap and join the two together.
