Hi All, After a long build with various stopping and starting due to house moves etc we have managed to get our 2012 dated Exocet through its IVA on the first attempt and also managed to deal with the DVLA successfully and get a new V5 with age related plates in just under two and half weeks - Trust me i was as suprised as you are!. Now we're onto looking for insurance - does anyone have any pointers / suggestions / recomendations on companies and what prices your all paying??. Any help gratefully received ! No recomms I'm afraid but congrats - looks great. Did you keep your Dominator lenses in their original position rather than rotate them like some peeps did?

Hi, I IVA'd my Replicar last month and got my plates back in just over 2 weeks, they must be going through a quiet period.
I had my build insurance with Adrian Flux, I rang to change it to driving insurance as I drove to the IVA and they wanted over £280! I rang around and went with Footman James which cost me less than £170 fully comp.

Hi Mike, thanks , yes we kept the lenses as they came , lined them up best we could against a wall and when tested on the IVA we weren't far out, I was expecting a comment from the tester about the pattern as I'd seen the posts about lense rotation as well but he didn't mention it, a quick adjustment for position and he was happy .

Well done. Passing an IVA first time is no mean achievement! Car look fantastic as well! James Footman worked for us. Enjoy your efforts
