Glad it's at least cranking - you've probably already come across these diagrams, but just in case ... www.mellens.net/mazda/I don't have any pics of the seatbelt mounting to hand but it was pretty straightforward apart from making sure the belts not twisting anywhere. Which bit's causing an issue and I can do a pic when I'm next in the garage. Hi Mike, Just the orientation of them and what bolt holes to use as the reel had two holes and neither seem to be a direct match? Just didn't want to modify unnessicarily. So just a picture of the reel mounting would be great. Cheers Ian I will have a look through. Scott

Here's a pic - shout if you need more /different. Bear in mind mine's a much earlier donor so things may be different for you. Good luck.

Hello again everyone... Been a while since an update due to various holidays and my wedding. But progress has carried on more recently so excuse the big picture dump at the end. Got fuel tank in a final position and tidied up rear wiring and trimmed rear cover ready to fit. Fixed handbrake cables into position and bolted on handbrake lever. Machined some headlight extensions and mounted front headlights and indicators. Side panels cut out and ready to mount when access will not be needed on the side. Various other small jobs competed and the list gets smaller. Questions..... A) wiring the @mevltd headlamps and have three wires from H4 bulb (dip, main and earth). Looking at wiring diagram for my donor it seems I have a R/Y to dip and main. Black earth from dip and a white switched earth from main beam. So what way do I wire the three wires from the H4 so it works? 2001 mk2 donor 1.8vvt B) Any advice for custom exhaust or if people have made there own from other parts? Don't want to use MeV item and don't want it to stick 6ft out the back on standard system. I'm sure there is a couple more Q's but the lighting is the main hold up at the moment.

Did you get your Dominator headlamp wiring sorted? I'vegot a different donor to you so can't say directly, but it's certainly been covered several times on this forum so your answer should be on here somewhere.
On the exhaust Q; some early builds used various - google images and then home in on the page of any you like? Could always cut and tighten the bend in the stock exhaust I guess.

Sorry for the looong non-update. Car is slowly getting there all wiring done now and all lights working. Did have a glitch with a non start issue but found it to be a cable to the coil packs that I had accidentally snipped while tidying it up. Next set of jobs is finish re soldering rear wheel arch lights as have decided to reroute the wiring. (whoops). Then to finish getting the rear cover to fit and drill the hole and work out the routing for fuel filler. Also to then get bonnet trimmed and fitted and edge trimmed. Then go round and edge trim and nut cover to my hearts content!! <3 haha!! Does anyone have a rear fog light switch they could send me? As mine has keeps going sticky and then not returning to centre, or recommend and aftermarket switch you have used?? Miket - Yes lights all working now started from scratch and triple checked wiring diagram and now all okay. didn't realize it was a switched earth to start with. Have now got a centre pipe to fit and now just a case of finding a right sized rear silencer and then get my welding mate round to adjust the bend as you say. Will update thread in the coming days with pictures as has been a while. Did you get your Dominator headlamp wiring sorted?
