I tried to send you a PM but it wont let me!
I think Chris L sent me a pic of the bonnet issue...I bought his Brian James Trailer (I assume he's your mate with the nice track car and the stealth car ramp in the garage at home!).
I am interested to see how you develop your car further....cheers John

Was it secure enough at speed..?

I welded 2 tabs onto the steering column to secure with the the bottom mount on the dash, the rear is a bodge with some metal off the frame part and a rivet into the top of the pod secured with some Ali and silkaflex

Could self tapper or rivet stuff to the frame, that's the original idea on this kit anyway. As the bottom of the dash has 2 holes anyway, it was easy to weld something onto the column. It's not hugely secure with just 2 m5's and the plastic could break so adding some sort of stay at the rear makes it more stable

i fitted an a small bonnet catch under the pod, so i can remove easily to hinge the bonnet up. See pics in my build. Simply bond an alloy section to bottom of pod with the button bit. Mount the peg section on steering column. Click and go.

IVA lights question. My fog and reverse are mounted on on the rear tub and they are on a 15 -20 degree ish angle. Is this an IVA fail as it says abojt being 90 degress to floor. Picture attached. I can make a bracket to bring them out if you guys think its a fail point...

Fog has to be 90 degrees to the road. Yours will fail as it is.
The others have (really stupidly) no requirements in this regard but have to be seen. Refer to the IVA manual for information, nice easy sections and details there.
Also, ask yourself what can you really see with the reverse light pointing up? This is where the IVA has another part complete action to my mind. Utter madness.
