It's worth noting that the powder coating on the weld will crack and expose the bare metal

Anyone know which is the horn live/connector on a mk2.5 I removed the steering wheel to fit a snap off boss a year ago and need a horn for Mot so I was going to buy a switch from maplin, but alas I seem to forget what goes where...

After some help on the routing of the front brake flexi lines please pic of what the previous owner had done. But obviously no good as it contacts many bits of metal. Where have people put there’s..?

Mine are the donor ones and are bracketed to the subframe rather than the chassis.

Sure .. -pls excuse the crusty donor (the car not me)... it was a mistake to round the ends so much - doesn't support the clip as well as it might

No - for me the key was getting the bracket as close to the donor's placing and angle as poss given i was using donor flex hoses. Perhaps yours are longer than stock?

So after checking my mk2.5 even the standard brake hose can touch structure, what is the exact rules on this is it only whilst turning the wheel..?
