If the flexi pipes can come into contact with moving parts such as wheels they should fail. If they can rub or touch the bones then they will wear and should fail. If attachment to the bones (perhaps a pipe clip mid way) to stop them wearing is required, they should pass provided the pipes do not pull tight on full lock or bump/droop.

Cheers Stuart I will have a play with locations before I make some new brackets. I was just surprised that the stick mx5 could touch the wish bones when I checked today so will do my best.

Returning to the fold....... So after nearly two years of zero car work I am about to commence work again. As with many other people I suspect life has got in the way of your builds. So things I have done... Fit a kitchen Fit a bathroom Move in with girlfriend Decorate three rooms Patio Garden And a few more... Then importantly covert her double garage into my man workshop👍🏻 So I also bought an old truck that needs some fixing but hoping within the next two months o will actually be back onto the Exocet🎉🎉🎉

You are definitely not alone! Numerous diy projects and 2 children have slowed down my project, I’m now 6 years in!

Just about to hook up the fuel lines to my mk 1 1.8 block. Anyone know which one is pressure and which return? It doesn’t seem obvious....

Pressure line connects to the front of the fuel rail, to check which line is pressure put each of the lines from the tank into a suitable container and run the fuel pump for a few seconds, it's a good idea to flush the line before connecting to the fuel rail anyway.
