Cheers guys!
You're right Trident! Much better!
I've still got over 1.5 of this steel tubing so if anyone wants a bit/all of it let me know. Will measure it and put a post in the For sale section soon.

Today got one of the rear wingstays fitted. Had to replace the upright to one with the lug to drill through.
Got my spacers from 'The Freak' delivered the other day. Looking great and fit nice and snuggly!
Off work again tomoz so want get the other three wingstays fitted.

Finished off the wiring for the front lights quite happy with the results so made a quick video!
Unfortunately where I'd position the fuel hoses means one comes too close to the exhaust, so I've got the fun job of trying to sort it from under the car!! I think I'll swap the hoses for pipe and a double pipe snap in clip above the brake line.

Looking good. Like the fact that the side lights and indicators are all in one unit. Very neat.

Been quiet for a while but still plodding along. Wing mirrors: Front bulkhead tunnel and template for centre console: And a new harness bar idea I fancied, just need it painted then welded to chassis Shaun

Ok been a year since I've been on here! The main news is the engine is finally running!! Turned out to be a dodgy connector on the wiring loom for the ECU and a dodgy connector on the Cam Angle Sensor itself! With all that behind me I'm focuses on getting everything finished in the next month or so before I start my new job, and hopefully on the road for the summer! Looking at sending the IVA application off shortly! Here's a pic of what it's looking like now. Forgot to mention it drives aswell! Lol

Well done, I've been reading lots of build blog etc, electrical gremlins look like a common issue!
Did you have the tubular wishbone suppliers details?

I've asked a few times if he'd make more wishbones for people on here but he seems too busy with other work to do it.

Glad to see you got the electrics sorted, electrics seem to be a recurring theme on MX5 builds (but then there are a lot of sensors, earth points, connectors to throw up a few problems!).
Good luck with the IVA, Im still years away.
