SHE'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally found what was causing the problem, the connectors inside the ecu plug for CAS were 'loose'. So managed to get them out of the plug, squeeze the connected to tighten the gap and they now fit snuggly. Connected everything up and she roared into life!!! Happiest day in the garage for ages!!! Cheers for all the help and suggestion on here! Can finally get on with all the other outstanding jobs!!! Also fitted a third aerocatch to the front of the bonnet. (Sorry for pedal bracket in the pic) Also fitted the harness, good choice of black, green would of been too much!! All in all a cracking weekend! Shaun

Good to hear Shaun, loose female connections are always difficult to diagnose. Hard to find those very small male pins to use to check insertion force.

Cheers guys! Good to hear Shaun, loose female connections are always difficult to diagnose. Hard to find those very small male pins to use to check insertion force. Yeah I think I assumed it was fine from just doing a continuity check through the plug but obviously didn't have enough contact to let current flow! Now I've gotta wrap all this wiring back up!

Been trying to decide what sort of mounts to use for the front lights. I want to use the drl/indicator combined units I've got. They can't go in the slots in the nose as the indicators would not meet IVA rules. So I was thinking of a way to mount these underneath the headlights. I thought about making a fibreglass 'box' for them to be in with the headlight bolted on top, but would've been really expensive for two 'boxes'! So on the way home today I stopped off in Maplin and picked up some project boxes for mini PCB/home electronics projects. This is what I came up with!! (Ignore the crack this will be fixed)!! Let me know your thoughts. Shaun

Hi Shaun
To be honest mate I think the box is a little too big. If you could find a smaller box then it would work. Just my first thoughts and honest opinion.

Hi Shaun,
What size are your DRL / Indicators. I have something that may be of interest. I found some aerofoil section in the scrap at work. I'm using it for my headlight mounts but I should have some spare. I think it came from some shelving. I'll try and get a foto and some dimensions.
Cheers
Colin

I spent all day on their website and didn't see these!!! I wanted something much thinner but couldn't find anything so just got the others to see how they looked. I think you're right too chunky!
