Is that a fuel tank on the driver side of the Firewall? have you lost a tank on the other side?

That tank is where the fuel pump hides & the two others are behind the "firewall"

I've been warned about the quick rev build up. Nick, what happens if I'm not careful out of the corners ? Is it "tail happy" ? I auto crossed a Sunbeam Tiger that I could steer w/the throttle & I wonder if the trike will act that way ? Thanks for the warning & any advice.

My experience: In the beginning the rear tire is still a bit greasy. So take care, even in third gear the rear tire can spin. Below 6000 rpm its comfy cruising. Above 6000 rpm you have more action. Really hitting the trottle in a curve results in a 180 degree spin. (I was lucky not hitting anything, just sliding) With carefull trottle you can corner the tr1ke like an empty shopping car at any speed. I probably need a race track to find out the cornering limits. Have fun!

Im sure you will have lots of fun getting to grips with your tR1ke, I think you will be surprised with the cornering ability and the grip from the rear in the corners. It will spin the rear exiting 2nd gear corners if you want it too and its easy to keep in control as long as you don't go too far, if you do she'll be facing the wrong way quicker than you can say O s**t. What I love apart from the handling is the stopping power, 1 big advantage of weighing very little.

That makes one think that a sticky titled "true confessions of a tR1ke owner" would be fun.

In my opinion anything with that kind of power to weight ratio can be tail happy if the driver is pedal happy. These fuel injected R1's are super responsive. It really does handle well!!! I am pleasingly suprised every time i get to test drive one! It has me wanting to sell the rocket and build one! But not until we get the mevabusa running. Seebee70 i drove it again yesterday everything checked out great, it will be shipped out today! Enjoy The thrill

Thanks for the links, Edwin. I'll read them asap. Hi Brett & thanks for the info. Pete cautioned me again about the quick reving engine & suggested a s-l-o-w learning process. I'll be contacting the neighbors about the new vehicle in the neighborhood, since our road is a short cut for some who don't drive cautiously & I don't want them to call the sheriff. I know your seat time was short but do you think the memory foam in the cushion is "comfy" or will more be needed ? Attachments:

The seats are fine! Because they are located at the center of the car no hard bumps are transferred to the drivers rear end. I have no upholstery at all. I think you don't need them. The seats are a tight fit around the hips. I am locked up by the seats. No need to brace myself when cornering hard. So: - For a spin around perfect.
- For a long day drive.... less perfect. Because of the locked up sitting position it is hard to even slightly change sitting position. So after a very long drive i feel my hips.
