Greetings to all fellow builders. My kit finally arrived & was brought home in my sons' p/u last week. As soon as I find how to post them,a pic or two will show up here. Thanks to all who have shared their experiences & pics for us newbies to learn from

Good start! Looking forward to you building process & pictures. By the way: When you place the link of the pictures between [img_] and [/img_] (remove the _ ) the picture is directly visible.

I tried following the instructions,#7,but didn't find the picture icon & wasn't sure which message to go to. I just used paste to put it in this message box.

Screen capture below shows how my reply looks like in the editor. (If you can build a tR1ke, you certainly can post a photo...) :-)

Thanks for the screenshot,Edwin,I'll refer to it when I post more pics. I'm not too sure I can build a trike at this point in time but with advice from this forum,it may happen some day. Erik, you've noticed the blue seat,so, yes it's the blue color I chose. Any tips on which seat rails to get & how to attach the seats to them ? Pete Dove mentioned the ones from the ford focus are too high. Thanks for the warm welcome, gents.

The only "problem" with these seats are one needs to make brackets to attach them to the rails. You can find some examples of other builders in the technical section and on other's projects as well. You may reconsider side mount brackets which eliminates the bolt heads on the seat area which might give you more comfort.
Blue is nice! have you come up with the color of the chasis yet?

I'm sure you all know what the floor pan looks like when drilled & temporary rivets are put in the holes. That's all I did today but I'm unable to copy & paste the pic. I've uploade the pic, checked the box under the pic, right clicked the url & the copy choice doesn't appear. I can right click the pic, choose copy but paste is greyed out when I try to paste it here.

Thanks for the tip on the seat rail/brackets,Erik. I'll probably go w/gloos black, since the front & rear wheels are finished that way & I doubt anything else will look good.

Well it seems I may did the right thing to get the link here. Sooo,I'll ask if aynone has/had a similar problem when setting the tanks ? The gas line fitting is inside the motor mount & I hope it will not cause grief when the motor is in the frame ? The pic also shows that the tab to the round tube is short,so what do y'all suggest to fasten it to the frame ? As always, thanks for your support. i1161.photobucket.com/albums/q518/seabee70/lefttank.jpg[/img]

I have welded some strips to the frame. There are pics on this forum about this.

If you look the pics on page 5 on my thread you can see how to bend the tabs on the fuel tanks and also see that the breather fittings near the top engine mounts are ok for a rubber pipe with a one way valve.
