Dogs are allowed, but bear in mind it will be hot so they'll need to be looked after. Obviously not allowed near the track and have to be kept on a lead at ALL times.
Arms and legs need to be covered when out on track, and a helmet is also required. Those without can always ask to borrow one from a fellow owner.

Sorry for the late update from me - My car is now registered, but I want to get some shake-down miles on it (and a full setup!) before getting it on track, so I won't be on track, but will be heading over to spectate and compare notes on builds...

Perfect opportunity for a shake down pre-IVA. I’ll be putting in a few laps to run the new race engine in before it goes to the rollers

If you have not been before just pull in the gate and follow the road past the butty hut and through the gate if it’s closed down to the pit area where there is plenty of room to park / store your trailer

As Stewart says the track is the best place to put shake-down miles on it especially in the company of fellow owners. In fact, from personal experience, the "worst" that can happen is you find you like the track too much

Last year's effort:

All those who've paid for driver/passengers should have received an email with the final instructions. Please read and let me know if you have any questions. There is parking for MEV Vehicles only, an area for support vehicles/general public and an area for camping. We'd appreciate it if people parked in the right areas, as having a Mondeo poking out 1/2 way down the row of MEVs will look rubbish on the pictures

WOW, what a great day, it was truly uplifting for us to see so many MEV owners having such a wonderful time. It was noticeable that the shift has changed to Exocet and it was marvelous to see so many new faces to Curb in Exocets of so many various colour schemes. We had to pick the best, ouch, what a tough job. In the end we gave the coveted Piston trophy for best Exocet to Alan who was knocking out just shy of 500 bhp from his highly tuned 1.6. He also won fastest 0-60 although there was serious debate on the exact time with Stewpot who claimed a faster time BUT I overruled as he organised the event and could hardly take prizes! Best Sonic went to Guy who organised the autotest and was very impressive at the wheel. Best Rocket prize went to Chris who has a done a great build. Stewpot awarded a prize to the Mevster family as they had obviously done loads of detailing and polishing. Apologies to those that did not fit in the frame on my group shot. Hopefully Stwepot will be along with a image taken by the pro photographer who gave us his time. Well done everyone for keeping the revs high and the fun factor flowing. Next weekend it's the massive Silverstone Classic show, see you there.
