Looking really good! You'll be done in no time!
Out of interest did you use any adhesive or sealant for attaching the floor or just rivets?
Also what are these high lift cams you speak of? Pipers?

Andy, rivets and screws for the floors, planning on using sealant to watertproof the floors and panels, once theyre all in. update for today, After the issues with the subrfame boltholes not aligning with the MEV frame I managed to tweek and shift the subframe by using a screwdriver to lever the holes into line and a vice to press the rear boltholes. before after front subframe in with power steering rack all conected up to the wheel planning on tidying and painting the steering rack at a later date. wheels will be refurbed and matt black, with centre caps, oh and matching all four!

Thanks for the comments guys.. Bushes are from Floflex, replaced all of them 34 in total, front and rear wishbones, upper and lower and both anti roll linkages. Ive also got lowered and stiffened springs to go in, so im a bit worried it may be a hard jarring ride...we'll see. Alex

Theres a few kits on ebay selling full polybush kits for £100 and ones £193 and there is also powerflex ones, well worth replacing as the bushes on a car getting to 20 year old are going to be shot, are you replacing track rod ends aswell before 4 wheel alignment as they seem to be quite common causing vibrations when driving or is it going to be a semi budget build? you can also get bigger antiroll bars off import and 1.8 vehicles i believe and bigger front brakes on the 1.8 models all round, 30% lighter and better performance might call for better stopping power, all depends on budget tho, great build tho ill be keeping a close eye on it.

Annoyingly theyre red too, as i was stuck with blue ones on a black car with red detailing!! and now theyre available in red! Still, i managed to get each set of bushings separately and the whole lot cost under £100. Well worth changing them. Not too fussed with changing the brakes as the extra speed from chucking this thing arounds offset by the weight saving so hopefully theyll be fine. Track rod ends were done too. Its supposed to be a cheap build but thats going out of the window. Im renewing more and more as I go along!

Yeah thats a ball ache that only having blue ones when the theme is black and red, still at £100 thats a good price, lol theres always a budget on build kit cars and it always goes out the window, did or are you going to replace the diff bushes aswell its supposed to help take up the power as it does flex as much, well worth sourcing a type 1 or 2 torsen limited slip diff with matching half shafts and prop shaft for alot more fun cornering
