Made a bit of progress this week managed to run the fuel lines and the loom along the ppf. Tried to run the brake line to but it was a bit tight so decided to run it down the frame.
Today was the day the frame went upside down ready for the floor.
Is it just me or is the moment you start drilling you wonder wether you measured right. oh well to late now. As it turns out all is good.
Got one side riveted on and had to call it a day. Got a uniform to sort out for rememberance sunday tomorrow.
Got the new toys out today. Pneumatic rivet gun best i've spent.

Quick question, what size and power is your compressor? As I have been looking at blasting cabinets and not sure if my tiddley compressor will be man enough to run one.

Mine is a 150l 3.5hp, and it just up to it. I had a 50l one before and it was too small.

Please help. for some reason I'm having great difficulty fitting the pedals and brake servo. I can't get the reservoir to sit anywhere near level and when I do there's not enough thread through the bulk head. probably a simple fix but I've been looking at it for that long I can't see it.

Thanks Stuart, I think i'll have another go at it tomorrow, as you said in your build the pedals seem close to the frame with out taking them any closer.
Happy New Year.

Not sure if this will help. I removed the spacers from the back of the pedal assembly as per build guide but ended up spacing it off the bulkhead about 10mm see photo. looks like I as spaced the servo off the bulkhead as well. Lots of trial and error fitting.

Squiddy, a quick tip. Whilst you can get all around your engine take a picture of the engine number (rear LHS of block) its useful for the IVA if the inspector asks to see the engine number.

Having sorted the pedals out (I think) We moved on to fitting the HSD coilovers or so i thought turns out they have the same problem as most aftermarkets on the 2015 frame with the shock hitting the top wishbone. Quick email to stuart and two banana brackets in the post. we then cut the wishbones to accomadate the new brackets only to find that when the shock is compressed the new plate hits the subframe, out with grinder and all is a well. quick lick of paint and you'd never know the difference. # Just got to find something for the top of the rear shock to keep mr iva man happy. Its colder in this garage than it is outside, summer seems a long time in the past. Anyway managed to convince the boss to spend another day in the garage to try and sort out the dreaded loom. Started on the engine harness which seem to fit worryingly easy, then came the bombshell the front to back harness is'nt quite long enough to reach the top of the subframe where i had hoped to locate it. I'm sure it will reach if i get a bit of play on the other end. Don't really fancy extending 20 odd wires. Has anyone mounted the front to back block anywhere else? (I cant see the wood for the trees.)
