It's done! It's fast! It makes great oil pressure! I'm excited.
Also, the light flywheel feels fantastic. I think the whole clutch/fly assembly is now much better suited to the weight of the car, and doesnt jerk with inertia when you do a slow start. Very pleased.

Congratulation of getting it all back together. Since you added the oil cooler did you plumb your Accusump into those lines now? Looking at your oil block looked to be just a fitting for the supply and return for the cooler.

No, the accusump is now going to a sandwich adapter for the oil filter. I was going to tee it in the oil cooler return, but there wasn't space to fit the tee there. I'll take a picture of how its setup now thursday, i'm on a 24 hour shift tonight.
Did put 25 drama free miles on it. No leaks, no issues. Can't complain about that.

Might want to put a piece of split heater hose over the braided hose so not to take paint off the frame..

Last task on pre-race checklist was to change the break in dinosaur juice out for synthetic. Done and done.

Hey Chris, it doesn't look like the pics are working any more. Do you have the p/n or description of the mat you used? Any other insight after a few months use? I filled my car yesterday morning with over 7 gallons of gas (had put in 2 last week that had at least some left in there) before the event (pump shut off), and I was still getting fuel starve after a hard left sweeper. Thanks!

Thanks! They're still around, just in a new location. Try this. The hydramat is amazing. I've run below 1/8 tank on the full road course and not a single hiccup. Highly recommend. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1607520399489815.1073741832.1564034810505041&type=1&l=83a4a6e8f9

BTW, do you recall off-hand what size fitting you needed for the pump inlet? Was it also 3/8 NPT like the hydramat fitting?

Car keeps getting better. Gathering a good base of suspension and tire pressure settings now so it's easier to get it dialed in. Plan to change from 3.45 to 3.23 rear end this winter race offseason to get some more mph (5) out of second gear. Will take the wheel torque down 7% or so too, which should make the power a bit more controllable. I usually tag the limiter on most courses, and today I hit it in three spots so on paper it seems like a positive change all around, and i'll have a spare diff. Still ran great.
