Hi what gearbox are you running then? I need a shifter from a gertag, and if you're running that you'll need a mk1 shifter, that I have...

Yeah, I'm using the Getrag 6 speed box off the ST170 but unfortunately I have used the shifter for my build, I modified it to do the job. Are you interested in the clutch? you can have first dibs on it as your build thread reminded me it was still stuck in the garage

Hi James I think I may have the shifter you require if you mean a Mk1 focus.

Hi ridgeback, I have a standard mk1 shifter, but in the sonic the gear cables go to the rear not the front so the direction is reversed. I understand that to keep the standard H pattern i need a mk2 mondeo or a gertag gearbox shifter. Which have you got please?

Well fitting didn't happen - forgot new bolts needed for flywheel. Hopefully Burton Power will get these to me tomorrow.
On another note, does anyone know/can they measure the spec of the bolt that holds the rear caliper to the slider pin please?

Flywheel on and torqued Clutch on and aligned, need to torque up. All parts for brake rebuild now received so that's a job for an evening in the garden.

Feels SO good to be putting things together instead of taking them apart/ prepping/painting Nice feeling isn't it, that's why I have dis-assembled and reassembled mine so many times

Nate is a star! He helped me align the gearbox and it's now back attached to the block.
Nate I can't thank you enough.
Mtx75 needs an ib5 stick, so had one off ridgeback. Tempted by a short shift kit for it, but want more details and the eBay seller is being a pita!
Have also worked out how to use my mtx75 shifters reverse protection on the ib5 shifter, just need to build a block to stop it on.
Next up, floor! Hoping that will be this weekend!
