No......I'm not dead! Been a stupidly long time since my last post, but fear not...I have been making (small amounts) of progress. Holidays and getting a girlfriend have gotten in the way Anyways, since the last post, I've got all the copper brake lines routed and fixed, made 2 brackets for termination of the front copper lines to the flexi braided hoses. Got the steering rack and wheel in, matted the driver side floor with rubber "checked" matting + Evo Stick, also attached the driver's seat to the runners and bolted that in place! Also rebuilt (with new seals/pistsons) the front and rear brake calipers The proof: Jobs next on my list: - Fit handbrake - Replace front hubs - Run fuel lines - Fit fuel tank Regarding the fuel tank - it looks as though (on the Exocet 2016 model anyway) you can only mount it one way, with the fuel tank filler on the driver's side of the car. I've read a few posts which say mounting the tank a certain way will only let you half-fill the tank. Is this still the case? i'd prefer to be able to use 100% of my tank to avoid re-filling so often and was wondering what others have done as a solution to this?

Hi Rory,
Glad to see you're still with us! Didn't we say last November something about being ready for Stoneleigh? Maybe 2017.
Re fuel tank, I fitted mine with the filler on the driver side. It meant drilling some new holes to line up with the tabs on the chassis, but seemed to be a better fit with the cover this way round. My only concern was after putting approx. 5 litres of fuel into the tank for first start it wasn't anywhere near enough close to covering the pump / sender unit. I ended up unbolting the tank and tilting it over 45degrees to get the fuel in the right place. If your concerns about how much the tank can be filled are correct, I reckon I might have a very small useable limit! I haven't set the filler into the cover yet pending further thought on this. Either way won't affect the fuel lines as I've run them, plenty of play.

Wow, been a really long time since my last post! I'm going to blame the cold, a 3 week holiday in Australia, a number of alcohol fuelled weekends and the cold! Had couple of hours on the car today, got the fuel mounting tabs bent so they reach the holes and drilled them Not going to fit just yet as I need to secure the brake pipe across the rear subframe Going to order some radiator brackets of Stuart in the week - just easier than me making them myself.
