Looking good Geoff! Im liking the orange detailing.
You can get the seats from ebay, Wayne. They do some nice fixed back type bucket seats for a really good price.

Thanks guys the seats came from Germany a company called FK Automotive 168 euros for the set delivered to the door . they wouldn't fit the Exocet but with a few mods they Will .I has to raise the runner 25mm off the floor with box aluminum 25x25mm and the side near the transmission tunnel move it 15 /20mm away to make them sit and with that i can move the driver seat forward and back a bit to suit. also the passenger side I had to remove the recliner handle mechanism and make a steel flat plate bracket to the angle required ,spray it black and bolt it on you wouldn't know it was there , the passenger side is a bit narrower there website is www.fk-automotive.de

excuse me for hijacking your thread but i noticed that you said that here in ireland this will be classed as a new car once the nct centre verify the engine and chassiss number, what does this mean for number plates as our reg plates are all age related so do you get a new 12 plate or a plate same year as your doner just with the make and model being different on the log book?

Hi rubix
According to our VRO revenue it is a new chassis so it gets a new plate 12 MH the down side is I have to pay a TAX which is call VRT and it is based on the Resale value of the Exocet and the co2 readings from the Donner engine. The vrt could be from 24% to 36% of the resale value
They can put any figure they want on the Exocet and they won't take into account that 90% of the car is from a Irish Donner that was all ready VRT before
A total mess of a system they don't want us importing or building kit cars in Ireland I also have to send them Copy's of invoices and a copy of my build diary photos etc to try put a case together to try reduce the VRT
Will keep updates
Geoff

Hi dfrs
I just outside kells co Meath
In regards to the plate I am lead to believe that they will issue me a new 12 plate due to the new chassis . Now I would be happy with a same age plate 99 and not pay VRT ( vehicle registration tax ) . They are calling the shots if I want to put in the road.

Room for the Sat Nav Etc The exhaust worked out well and sound good .I have to get a tail pipe to finish it off plan to start working on the fuel filler next. I also have to get a new front top wishbone as the one i have is damaged and through the Wheel out . Get this sorted before i get the car tracked and aligned keep plugging on

Top marks on the dash /interior Geoff
Brilliantly crafted in to the gearstick and steering wheel , that cannot of been an easy evolution.
Good to see it coming together and all the finishing bits in place - what was the snag with the indicators in the end ?

Still have not got to the bottom of the indicators yet. I link a wire from the relay to the hazard switch ( orange ) i can get them working .BUT the hazard switch will only work when the dash stalk is in the up ( right turn ) position
Also there no power going to the permanent feed to the hazard switch and the fuse is ok and I cant find any broken or sniped cables in the loom
I am Baffled. But will have a look at it again as i have to install the side lights
