Cheers guys, I'm now just going through the v55/5 form to get it registered, how can I pay for the fee's without sending a cheque?

I looked without success and finished by paying with cheque. The V55/5 is such an ancient document that it probably precedes debit/credit cards and bank transfer.

Well done chap. Now all you need is a road trip. How about driving to the Donington kit car show. Only 2 weeks to go.

Just a quick question on your exhaust; on the rear exit, I take it, it comes straight from the middle box? Is the rear exhaust piece a silencer or just a tail piece? Thanks

It's the standard exhaust upto the flange, then it's the metal fuel filler pipe off the mx5 cut and with a exhaust tip welded on.

Well it's been a long time build but the Exocet is now finally finished. My v5c arrived on Wednesday followed by all my documents and number plate certificate on Thursday. I have since been out in the car every night after work. Few teething problems mainly being the clutch is slipping but a replacement has already been ordered. All I can say is WOW, it's such good fun and well worth the time taken. With the turbo it is quick, even with a slipping clutch and band aid timing and fuel solutions. Next upgrades have already been decided... Alloy radiator, large front mount intercooler, 3" exhaust from downpipe back, megasquirt ecu wih wideband lambda gauge. Here are some pictures taken at my step brothers house as I've been too busy driving it to actually take some pictures which is very unlike me. Well back out for me this afternoon haha.

Not to bring this back from the dead. But what happened to the digi gauges?

Hi Guys, just an update on my car as I've not been on here for a while.
A deposit has been taken and the car will now be living life with its new owner very soon down in Brighton.
Thanks for all the help and support over the years and advice with my build. Cheers Craig.

Hi Craig, What happened to the car? Check out eBay item number 122217411201 and check sellers other parts. Looks like it's gone forever mate, definitely your car.
