Insides look good nice job.. Have you thought about cutting a couple of pieces of small tubing to space out the cable guide for the E brake cable so it pulls straight..

I like the flooring you've got, where did you get it from? Looking good!

I'll have a look at the handbrake it functions fine I will be making a cover for it as I don't like the exposed look anyway.
the flooring was just from eBay 1x 1.5m stud rubber flooring, It was only £16 delivered.

Very nice job..The dash panel really finishes off inside.. Are you going to need edge molding around the top edge of the lower shock spring mount??

Yeah I'm going to be covering anything that looks suspicious for iva with edge trim and every nut will be covered with caps.

Craig.. To get the most out of your turbo system you should go to a 2 1/2" or 3" tubing front to rear. You might also be choking it down with that rear muffler.

Sorry for the late reply guys I've not been well so not been on here much, the exhaust is the standard mk1 system with cat still in place, the rear is actually the old fuel filler metal pipe with a universal tip welded on the end, seems crude and is but it looks good and does the job.
Noise level is around 96db with the turbo on and cat in place. Once I have got through the iva the plan is to get a custom 2 1/2 in down pipe back stainless exhaust with twin centre exits and a few small silencers in but this will do for now so I know I won't have any exhaust issues come iva.

With a turbo you don't need a big silencer.. The turbo unit cut the noise down.. If you tried to use a turbo exhaust on a non turbo car it would be too noisy.. Go for a 2 1/2" to 3" tube all the way back don't choke it down with small tips..

More work done and finally drove it, not far in and out of the garage but give me an incentive to get working to finish it for this summer. Wiring sorted in the engine bay and dash panel Wired in the fog light and attached it to the instruments First time out the garage this year and under its own power too exciting times I've finished off the exhaust and tightened it all up, fitted the fuel pipes with all new clips and fitted afpr and set it up to 35psi at idle 50psi at the transition point between vacuum and boost. I need to wire in the bipes acu and finish looming up the rest of the harness. I'm getting there and am starting to see the end in sight, however I did have a set back in when filling the cooling system the water pump decided to not pump and coolant and piss it all out the front of the engine... I've got a new one on order so once that's fitted I can get it up and running bleed the system and set up the idle and static timing. To go with the turbo I have also fitted 1.8 injectors to help fuel ther required amount. To be honest I may just order an ms pnp off reverant and be done with. Haha
