So, my thread has been viewed 30,600 times, nice one guys, I will miss posting threads of my ridiculous exploits, but will be keeping an eye on the forum for any issues wit the new owner of my trike, i'm sure you will all look after Jimmy and give him the advice he needs if I can't. I look forward to being on the road again, maybe in a TR1KE, maybe on a TRIKE, maybe in a Sonic, I have to say that apart from the TR1KE, the only other car that did appeal to me was indeed the Sonic, for its smooth lines, and everything covered up. Got a few years of saving to do now before I will be in a position to buy my next toy. Cheers for everyone's help, especially Kevin (Slugshot) who has put up with me for 3 years I hope to keep in touch with everyone still, and will see you all in May at Stoneleigh where I will have to pay full price for admission And hopefully some kind souls might take me out in there cars & TR1KE's at Curborough Keep it real homies

If I manage to get my Sonic to Curborough next year, your more than welcome to come for a spin. Never know you might even talk me into letting you get behind the steering wheel Nigel

Welcome to a ride round Curborough in mine too of course Nick . Probably a little tame after the tR1ke, but still good fun. You might even get to do a back to back comparison between mine and Nigel's. I believe Nigel is doing winter mods to get his to run on fairy dust rather than being drawn by a pair of unicorns Martin

TR1KE heading up to Arbroath as we speak, on its way to it's new home. I was fair sad to see it go, but must keep a positive outlook. Teardrop will be for sale soon, :-)

So after a few discussions with my wife, and explaining that I will never match the performance I had in my tr1ke with anything except a motorbike, and the fact I don't really want another big bike, we have come to the understanding that it is inevitable that I will likely build another vehicle. Whether it's another Tr1ke, a Sonic or even an Atomic, it will probably be bike powered, and lessons will be learnt from my first build.
So watch this space, possibly around the middle of 2016 now, this time though it will be done in stages, no more massive debt :-)
Can't rule out buying a part built, or even not built but all parts present.

Take note that the Atomic turns out more expensive as the tr1ke, probably in tax fees and insurance as well. I guess the Exo-r isn't your cup of tea but the future RS version may be an option. Converting an Atomic to trike could be awseome. Shouldn't be a steep hill to have the rear end redisigned.

I want massive power output Erik so no the Exo R if you mean the scooter thingy, is nothing like I want, having seen how it handles a track, I feel sure that I would need a full roll cage, it represents not enough power or stance for me. The R1 engine is plenty powerful enough for me, but as said from very early on, my intention would be to fit a V-Twin power plant as I feel the torque factor and overall noise factor is just something different and something I like, I have heard an Atomic with a V-Twin fitted and also the Campagna T-Rex with a Twin and they both add a different sound and feeling to the experience.
Whether it means back down the TR1KE route, or maybe over to a buggy of some sort. I have my eyes on a couple of ideas, but whether at the end of it all I will decide to buy another bike powered toy, or whether I just go and buy a factory soft top, who knows for now :-)
Stoneleigh is less than a week away, and so many new products to look at. Who knows what will catch my eye, but personally, I cannot imagine anything will touch the performance and handling of the TR1KE.. 75 MPH in first gear, it was the fastest vehicle I have driven, and I love every aspect of it when it was working properly.
Keep an eye on this link, it may indeed be inundated with my next venture, should that be an MEV creation.......
