Well ....I wimped out today, typical British weather messed up my plans.
I was all set to spend the day at blyton experimenting with different front steering and suspension settings.
So splashed around in my sisters hair dressers car(mr2)

The hero of the day was nick, he braved the 80 miles in his tR1ke, I think he enjoyed his track sessions in the slippery conditions, and his tR1ke looked good out on track and he didn't spin off that many times:)

Kevin I think that's called letting the side down:-) and never say MR2 again even though they are good it's just not manly to say it, goes with MX5 really:-)

Fair play Nick, I've been caught out in the rain twice in mine and it's really miserable. Would not set out in wet weather for a day out at the track

It has been a damn good day out despite the weather being very unkind this morning, and the clutch cable failing on my way home, a 2hr wait for a low loader and then a 45 minute wait at services because the driver was up to his limit on Tacho :-)


All in all I had a good day, only coming away early as I wanted to try and drive home in the dry, however once parked up and with brollie in hand, the heavens opened for just over 2hrs as I sat under brollie awaiting the AA.

Stuart just popped in to make sure I got home safe, very nice of him. I found some very caring people today both on and off the track, and also on my way home, and finally when I got home..... I have made some good friends since owning a ridiculous vehicle :-)

Whilst I did not push the outer limits of my tr1ke, I am indeed hooked :-)

I look forward to the next one.....

I managed to clip into the wrong Mic, so my noise is dreadful grrrrrr, darn it, will need to do another track day now :-) Like Kevin, I am hooked.....

Got out this afternoon just with a bit of sunshine to test my new Mic Pod, seems to work much nicer and clearer, baring in mind it has its noisy exhaust on, and with its quiet system the noise emitted from the TR1KE was awful if the Mic pickup was anything to go by.

It is now housed within the toy I was awarded at Curborough last year for the noisiest vehicle on circuit
