So due to being nowhere near finished on my caravan for a week today, my plan has changed. If the weather is nice Sunday, I will drive down for the day. If not I won't be coming. No point in driving to a SHOW in the rain. Was worth it for Blyton, but not for it to sit under a cover in a field.

That's a shame I was looking forward to seeing the caravan, though I was thinking of only going for the day if the weather doesn't pick up a lot.

It gives me time to finish the caravan now instead of rushing it.

So after Blyton back in April, and after several wet spins, my steering had started to become a bit loose, we it had play in it. I noticed it more driving to Stoneleigh in May. So after speaking to a bloke currently on with building a tr1ke, he had asked me how difficult it was to do the quick rack. For me, this proved to be the most difficult part of my build, but for many others it was a doddle. He told me that RTR had a few Slipper plug plastic covers, and this was the main item that had caused me grief and it had almost destroyed itself fitting it. I didn't think I would be able to remove it that was for sure. Anyway, I fitted the new plug having found a Bolt in my garage that fitted the recess, and after winding it down to flush, I found I still had play in the steering.......But not in the rack it seemed. I automatically presumed it to be the rack giving me problem, but it turned out to be the column to universal joint coupling. It was a little slack and once tightened it was perfect if a little too tight. So after about an hour of doing this I decided to go and see if my caravan would fit on the back of the trike and to see how it looked. I am very happy with the result, but will have to brace the towing arm if I keep this one, too much flex, but I do still have my original towing arm so no problem.

Brilliant nick, if driving your tR1ke didn't turn enough heads I think with the caravan in tow you may well of overdone it PS..as for your steering UJ coupling being loose, I reckon you had better go round your tR1ke checking for tightness, clutch cable,UJ...what next!!! tow hitch maybee

So after ripping out the Orange fur I re-trimmed it in Dino fur and it just needs the door trimming to be finished.
The caravan tows nice behind the trike so it will be coming down to Curborough next Friday evening for Curbfest ;D

Looking good nick and good clutch control as well, even without any daft throttle cable restrictor.

Looks good Nick,
But it looks like it might damage your rear hugger? It's incredibly close even without heavy road undulations!!
