So after realising that something was a bit out of whack on my brakes after Blyton and brake fade, Kevin had suggested bleeding the brakes again, I knew after the initial build I had managed to fit the bias bar the wrong way round so adjustment to it was only putting more pressure on the rear brakes. That in mind I decided I would swap over the Banjo bolt fittings on the front and rear brake master cylinders, I knew I had made it as easy as possible to setup the brakes, making all fittings work on Banjo adaptors, however what I had forgotten was that my rear leaking brake line when sending to MSVA, had been replaced by RTR, and they had used a straight screw in nipple, meaning my 10 minute job turned into a 3 hr job, I needed to remove the seats, tunnel and then feed the rear brake line back towards the front so I could unscrew and remove it GRRRRR...
However, once done I was able to easily swap over the pipes, and then re-bled the entire system. Unsure of if this was going to make much of a difference when driving I was eager to see if my 3 hrs of suffering had paid off. I eagerly set off down the road and tried the brakes, wow, what a difference, plucking up a bit more courage I accelerated up my road like what can only be described as a F*CKING lunatic, up to 70 in first gear, and slammed on my brakes, H*ly cr@p, my brakes are awesome now, I feel much much safer in my trike now, I can only presume the majority of my braking was being done on the rear caliper, and maybe this is why I had brake fade.
The real test is at the weekend, when braveness and no common sense are in the air
I took the liberty of moving my reverse switch to the floor and replaced the button with an authentic floor mounted button, replaced the battery with one I bought a while back, and fitted my new volt meter.
Caravan will hopefully be done for the weekend, its ready enough to sleep in, just need to re-trim the door. I had planned to do this yesterday but all my time was taken up on the trike.

See you all there......
