Hi all. Bought a part built project to finish and put through the IVA. Can you guys give me some pointers on a starting issue. It starts but dies after a few seconds. The fuel pump is running, i can hear it and have linked out F/P and GND on the Diagnostic tool. Video below. Its very consistent. I did not build it so will have to check everything but you may be able to point me link

I Had that issue once with our Mevster it turned out to be one of the pipes into air filter housing on front of the engine

Picture of tank setup. any issues seen? What is the little electronic box on the right? Immobiliser? The donor was a 1839cc registered in 1997. I bought it as seen with a flat battery. It had been sat for two years. I have seen a video of it running previously. The fact that it starts and runs smooth is great but it will not keep running. I can rev it up when it runs it just shuts down after a few seconds. What is more likely... fuel or electronic?

Mine used to cut out if it wasn’t being revved. Was the sensor on one of the wheels at front bottom of engine. Space was adjusted and now holds at 1000rpm

Thinking of the turbo future... and overcoming my running issue... how about an after market ECU?
Any recommendations ?

I have the exact same issue with my build which I bought part built a few weeks ago. It absolutely appears to be immobiliser

Tried another ECu and immobiliser set... same... unpluged immobiliser..... same.... unplug key sensor.... same.... gonna try another fuel pump i have and then swap out sensors one at a time.... would go for a third party ecu but unsure now...
