This thread has gone a bit wayward, I've asked to have it cleaned up and get it back to the selling hard facts.
The car is still for sale if anyone is interested.

Ok guys
I have an offer of hard cash for the car which to be honest I'm not surprised as I'm letting it go so cheap.
Turbo2015 will be the new owner of the car. He has some upgrades planned already so he should be on the forum soon.

It does however have an IVA which cost £450.
You only have to up your budget by £1500, I don't want to think about how much I'm I'm out of pocket. If my missus new that the car would be staying put...
It's the perfect starters car, all the hard work has been done now it's ready for someone to put their stamp on it and have a tinker about.
As I said earlier I'm home on Thursday so I'll get some pictures taken and post them here for all the interested parties it will save me sending them out individually.

No problem Andy...
There is a lot of money in the car, way more than I'm asking for it. The basic kit was £4k And I spec'd it up quite a bit with variable camber wish bones alloy uprights and a few other bits.
I'm not denying it needs some work to get back on the road but it's fully registered on a 62 plate And built with the best of gear. I'm not a mechanic but was a technician in the Navy for 22 years So it's not just thrown together.
It doesn't need much for the mot. Therefore was a ball joint boot at the front needed Replacing and a new rear hub as one of the wheel bolts can loose. These new parts will come with the car.
Track days, unfortunately not. Starting a new job 3 years ago, and working away from home meant no time For the cae. It's done just over 1000 miles so not even broken in yet. As for performance it goes like it's Name. It has around 160 bhp with the throttle bodies and inlet fitted.
I'm at work at the minute and don't get home until Thursday so I can have so new pics and you can give me a call if you Want.

Mabbs sold his car ages ago, it was doing the rounds at some of the car shows and I think RTR had it at one point but no idea where it is now.

Ok guys I've updated the post above to include links to my build thread along with links for the brake upgrades I've completed and the bespoke side pods.
I'll be advertising this in the usual places but I thought I would give members the first opportunity to purchase.

OK Guys I've had a look through everything and there is a lot to include with the car. Unfortunately I'm going for an operation on my knee so it has meant that someone could get a bargain here. Everything related to the car will be included, loads of spare parts and bits bought to replace existing parts. All the bespoke carbon and fibre parts finished/fitted and in production (needing finished). I don't want to think about how much I have invested in the car so if I don't get what I'm looking for them It will be kept in the garage until I'm able to start playing with it again. Some of the parts used: 2.0 zetec blacktop engine (NEW) £900 IB5 Gearbox (NEW) £450 Race Technology Dash 2 display and connection to ECU £600 OMEX 600 ECU and Wiring Loom. £750 Hispec 4pot Callipers Front. £200 Rally Design alloy hubs. £300 Suzuki Hayabusa Throttle Bodies. £450 DanST alloy air Intake fitted to TB's. £600 Wolfrace Assassin 17inch alloy with tyres (1200 Miles) £700 Original Kit price with extras £4600. Rear spoiler £300 Front spoiler £200 S/S bolts used throughout £150 Vibra Technics engine and gearbox mounts (3 of) £600 S/S exhaust system £900 This alone is more than I'm asking not to mention £200 for seatbelts, £200 for seats. Lighting, wiring loom, battery and charger/conditioner/alloy radiator/stainless braided brake and clutch lines, IVA, registration and a load of other stuff. It needs an MOT and a tidy but it is a fully registered car on a 62 plate, done just over 1000 miles and would be an ideal starter for someone. Have a look through some of my threads for pictures, upgrades and bespoke parts. Ok Guys
The time has come to sadly part with my Rocket build. I basically haven't had the time to do anything with it now for a long time and it's such a waste sitting in the garage looking rather sad for itself.
I will admit that it has been neglected a bit over the past few years.
It needs an MOT, but physically the car is in great condition. Only issue is that one of the wheel studs has come loose from the drivers rear side hub, as it's alloy I haven't bothered getting a repair I have just bough a complete new hub and bearing set that just needs fitting.
Have a look through my build diary and you will see the spec of the car I have spent a lot of money on it during the build and also made some bespoke body parts. The front brakes have been upgraded to vented discs.
I have loads of spare parts and goodies to go along with the car that I have collected over the years and also a folder full of receipts.
Some of the parts used.
2.0 zetec blacktop engine (NEW) IB5 Gearbox (NEW) Race Technology Dash 2 display and connection to ECU OMEX 600 ECU and Wiring Loom. Hispec 4pot Callipers Front. Rally Design alloy hubs. Suzuki Hayabusa Throttle Bodies. DanST alloy air Intake fitted to TB's.
IVA completed and on a 62 plate. As I said a lot of money spent but it does need some things doing to get it back on the road.
I know I won't get what I've paid out but open to reasonable offers.
Message me for pictures or questions.
Thanks

Fast road cams, some hayabusa TB's and get the head ported and you could be looking around the 200 bhp mark with a good ecu.

Supposidly the longer trumpets hive better low down torque. I must admit I didn't feel any difference but I had a standard 2.0 zetc. It does give a better noise though.
