Interesting ... The tank from my 1991 sits way low in front, ~4" higher in rear, yet clears just fine. Would have thought your 1994 tank would be the same design ??

Now I'm really confused...mine is so much higher than both of yours in the front and it's still nearly contacting the subframe. No heatshield underneath. Is my diff unusually high or something??? Just looking at the pics quickly, I think you will have to lower your tank once your trunk arrives. Mine was about that height and I lowered it 2" to make the trunk fit.

The NA tank is quite a bit taller than the NB one.

Long time without an update. I have been busy purchasing a house (with a bigger garage!), so the work on the Exocet has slowed by quite a bit. Today, I got fuel lines in. Pedals are also 95% mounted, I just need to drill the spacer hole in the firewall. Tomorrow the car goes to Coyote Motors in Boulder to get the wiring put in and pared down. They're doing it for a great price and I've heard very good things about the shop. Hopefully we will hear her fire up before the weekend! I did my fuel lines placed on top of each other run along the passenger tunnel. P-Clips every 12" for each line, staggered so there's support every 6". Pics:

Bye bye Exocet! I'll see you soon! AND IT WILL BE RUNNING.

Coyote Motors in Boulder. They're doing all the wiring including pulling out all unused plugs/wires for what I think is a very, very reasonable price. I figured that given my lack of knowledge on wiring in general, it would be much more efficient to have them do it.
So, when I get it back I should have a car that will start, then all it will take is mounting the radiator, bodywork, and lights.

I wish there was somebody in Ohio that could do the same thing you're having Coyote Motors do, I wonder if I sent them a harness, if they could do the same job sans car.

I can ask them when I pick mine up if you'd like!
