Just had a clean round the garage and found these, a pair of focus rear calipers, forgot I had them, I've put them on here before but had no replies. . . . . They could do with a good clean and are supplied without the carriers (they were siezed to the car I got these from). Only looking for what I paid for them from the Scrappy, so £45 including postage (to UK that is). PM me if interested. Ned.

Hi, could you post some pictures or explain how you mounted the pipe clamps to the chassis? Thanks

I was thinking of putting rivnuts in the chassis but the centre tube is quite small and the rivnut fr an m8 bolt requires that quite a large hole be drilled. I think I will connect them to the centre tunnel, some how . Ned

Managed to get a few more bits done, nothing major. Just as I was starting this new entry my new clutch kit and handbrake cable turned up so hopefully will be able to crack on again at the weekend. I eventually got round to removing the clutch from the the 2.0 litre engine. This is it sitting next to the 1.8 flywheel. . Just need to remove this one then I can put the 1.8 wheel on with the new 1.8 clutch. Luckily bought one of these kits to help remove the flywheel, as taking it off the old engine was a nightmare. . Eventually got round to finishing off the Accelerator pedal. Also fitted the Wilwood pedals and the Res hoses. Tried to connect the hoses to the brake/clutch Res and the connector split only to be expected I suppose, it is 13 years old so need to source a new one. . Also got some T-bolt clamps for the cooling pipes, been told they are better than normal worm screw type. Also used rubberised p-clips to mount the nice Viper brake cables to the same clamps. Made a bracket for the 4-way connector to sit on, want to keep the brake switch vertical as I've read on here that they tend to leak. Will be using PTFE tape on all brake line connections prior to priming the system. . Few other small jobs done. Fitted the gear stick, attached a new front handbrake cable to the lever and put the fuel tank cover in just to see what it looked like . Couple of ongoing jobs, centre tunnel cut just need to clean it up and put some vinyl on it. Rear bulkhead almost finished may just paint that as the fuel tank covers most of it, undecided yet, and also in the process of fitting rear wheel wing stays so more pics soon. So thats 3 months I've had the kit now, not getting as much time on the kit as I would like but still loving it. Ned
