Yes, if you drill the hole, i think the hole diameter is 8mm my mirrors were 10mm as well but 2 seconds to drill the hole out

Hi Shane, what about daylight running lights? What about them mate? I thought IVA says you need them and to be on with ignition and off with dipped or something like that? Still it done anything to ours, really hacked off with it now! Got the bloody charcoal canister to sort and the air filter an d the maf to sort before we can even see eat run it.

Got the bloody charcoal canister to sort and the air filter an d the maf to sort before we can even see eat run it. I don't think there is any need for adding DRL, it's actually not recommended Before IVA due to all the requirements, you only need the usual lights, side, dipped, main etc. I researched the cannister, if you search the forum you will see a post by me with pictures and loads of replies. In the end I figured out I was over thinking it and just pulled it out and the pipe that goes to the canister from the tank you just vent to air instead of to canister and blank off the vacuum ports in the throttle body using these rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F161694302833Simplest solution for the filter is to buy a cheap cone filter remove the filter box and fit the cone in its place on the MAF housing and then on the standard black air pipe cut a hole someone between the throttle body and the MAF sensor and then push the IAT sensor in (the one you pulled out the standard air box with the rubber grommet), push it in so it's a tight fit and job done, you can obviously make it neater than it sounds

Thanks, did you just block the other pipes from the engine to the canister then? I think my air box pipe is too long across the front now before it bends at 90degrees. Can't recall as still got to sort the bonnet and the dash mounting.

Can't recall as still got to sort the bonnet and the dash mounting. Yep they are just vacuumed ports to help pull the air into the canister. Not needed without canister. I can't post pictures on here on mobile which is a pain but if you want you can do what Dave did for me, buy 2 90degree silicone fittings and a straight metal fitting, connect one of the silicone fittings to throttle body, then the straight piece connects and runs across the front behind the rad, then the other silicone fitting connects the metal pipe to the maf sensor, then cone filter. Drill a hole in the metal fitting for the iat sensor from the original air box.
