The battery box proved to tighter fit, the terminals contact the top of the battery box - hence the scorch mark ! So a bit of 3mm rubber glued in place should help...

Postman's been...big brake vs standard brake difference...not alot, but enough to prevent progress... The red engine paint has gone off after sitting on the shelf for last few years....drat !

Driveshaft clip fitted & reinstalled (last time). Fitted ABS sensor. Fitted modified front wing stays (18mm spanner & socket help here) need to get a pair of new split pins. Fitted stalk cover. Need to give bracket a final small bend before powder coating .., And how it will look for the IVA (once squared up & reassembled with painted bracket)

My idea for a headlamp & DLRL... With DLRL... And light unit.., It's going to need a slight redesign to ensure nut clearance and DLRL snug fit. Wondering if 3mm plate will be needed for stability???

I plan to secure the rear tank cover with these brackets, trial fit first/modify, then powder coat, mark out chassis & riv nut chassis. I was then going to Isopon P40 them to the fibreglass cover. It should mean I can then easily remove & have no visible fasteners (well that's the plan).

I've got a pair of DRL/indicators that fit in the space on the nose cone but not sure about Seeing the indicators for IVA from the opposite side so may leave them off until afterwards.
Not sure if you've got a kit already but there is plenty of DRL modules on eBay for around a tenner

Shaun, I've got the DLRL shown in the pictures. Another night in the garage, refitted the 'refined' exhaust (bent to avoid the diff) Do fancy upgrading to the red poly flex isolators at a later date. Just a hanger bracket is needed to make for the exhaust tailpipe corner. This is where the head light / DLRL would fit, once modified. Got the split pins to finish the front linkage. Put the car back on its wheels, first time in quite a while ! Stuart could well be right on the 350mm rear lamp, it's looking very close (low tyre air pressure vs. increase weight in fuel / seats are all key variables - remake the rear lamp bracket 10mm closer to rear cross bar tube). Sat here looking at the tailpipe alignment, might rebend the exhaust 5-10 degrees so it's parallel to the rear....
