That should do the job...mine did. They are not facing the wrong way.

Hope this works out OK for IVA Tim, looks plenty wide enough to me. Although yours look a bit more forward. Found this picture of mine and I reckon they were only 2" out from the side of the car and passed.

Great Iparnell & John ! (Side markers definitely need to face backwards)
Next question, I mounted seats like John, with brackets welded to runners and screwed to seats. The runners are then bolted through the box section with a nylock on the underside of the floor pan.
I've read about strips of plate between bolts and also crush tubes. What will IVA expect/want ? Struggling to see the seat mounting specifics in the IVA manual...

Tim, I didn't fit 'crush tubes' drilled through the box sections and mounted the runners directly to these (I did grind off the thin lip on the bottom of the runners for more contact area). Can't remember if I used 8 or 10mm 8.8 grade bolts with large penny washers and nylon nuts. Mr IVA man happy with what I did.

Hi, New to forum and reading through lots of build threads to gauge my ability and potential pitfalls. Just wanted to congratulate you and your son as it has to be one of the best i've read with so much detail and information. Did you ever get it finished? Simon

I've mounted my GRP seats in a similar fashion with MEV mounts and Mk2.5 rails using M8 bolts and penny washers, but chose to insert bolts from bottom up in the belief it might be less to snag on humps & sleeping policemen with just the bolt head underneath. Any thought?

Sounds logical. I've had no experience over speed humps so can't comment.

IVA fail.
Front indicators too dim.
Connected two of the ABS pipes the wrong way round.
Short seat belt bolt.
Short sub frame bolt.
Speedo visibility.

Sorry to hear that - so close but so far. I guess there's a silver lining in finding the ABS issue.
How come indicators were too dim?! .. I imagine you used the bulbs that came with them - odd one. Speedo visibility seems an odd one too but I haven't gone back to study where you put it that's so invisible.
Feels like you should be fine for the retest - fingers crossed anyway.
