If you look on on page 5-6 of my tR1ke (EAST YORKSHIRE BUILD) build thread there are some close up pic's of my rtr seats with runners. You could use flat bar instead of runners if you want to keep the seat height low. Of course the other option is to bolt straight to the floor but I wouldn't go that route, some have bolted to the ally floor at the rear and with suports through the chassis cross rails at the front.

Thanks, will have a look. I need to make the drivers seat adjustable but was thinking I might try making an alloy mount plate that will allow different seating positions front to back but keeping the seat height and extra weight down. It will be a slow change to adjust the seat, but I think I can achieve a good outcome.

Diff parts arrived from Westgarage and diff now fitted. ZX12 engine mounting mods also now done. I can move to a Hyabusa power plant down the track after I've out grown the ZX12!

Nice build! I used to have a 2001 ZX12r and that bike was bad!! Cant wait to see this one done. Do you have any pictures of he clearance between the rear wheel and the control arms? Im thinking about running a wider wheel on the back and trying to figure out how much room there is to play with.

There is still a bit of room to spare on the top wishbone as you can see, my rims are 16x8.

I am planning on running 225/45/16 tires on the rear and 205/50/16 on the front.

Thanks for the pictures! that looks like plenty of room. I plan on running 17x10 on the rear and 17x8 on the front, the wheels are from a mustang, Ill have to machine bushings for the hubs.

Yeh, that pic is full droop, and full compression has the same clearance on the bottom.

Wow, that's going to be a lot of rubber on the rear. Be careful you don't "over tire" the front end trying to match the rear size.

I have finally finished the underbody and mounted the engine in for the last time! Will be making the front splitter from some 2mm carbon sheet I got from Carbon Mods, just waiting for the replacement front wing brackets from SVE so I can work around the final wing position.

So your floor extends out beyond the chassis lines? There doesn't look to be much scope for droop in the bones before hitting the extended floor...
