CBM makes this neat bracket to fit an F-Body alternator on the corvette beltline. Still waiting on the idler, main belt, and tensioner to come in - but I was able to get the alternator fitted.

Weld-in bracket for the getrag diff (front/rear). Went ahead and upgraded the diff bushing to a 95a poly since they're known to fail. Once these are welded in, will get the rear suspension put together on rollers. This is a 3.42 unit with LSD from a GU5 Cadillac STS

Last piece of the fit puzzle is the starter. Tight fit, but it fit. Powermaster 9509, a bit pricy, but the only thing that's probably going to fit that space.

That looks like a bitch and a half to fit in there. Would be miserable in a regular car, I bet.

Not much doing, chassis is sitting backed up at exo's powdercoat shop, so it will be next week before delivery. My driver is going to pick it up thursday, so I should have it saturday.
In other news, rebuilt the rear hubs with fresh timken bearings and seals as well as poly bushes, which finishes off all the suspension components. I thought about doing up the brake calipers, but I'm going to leave them alone for now since I plan to upgrade later (soon).

I rebuilt and powder coated a set if stock ones. Was very very easy to do. Think it cost only $40 in parts or something stupid cheap.
Might want to consider that at least.

Nothing wrong with the ones I have, they're in good shape. Just want to save weight where I can.

Mine finished at the powdercoaters and Kevin surprised me saying that my bodywork is done as well, so they're pretty much caught up now. Should have some pictures tomorrow of the transparent copper.
