I got the same wheels. They acted like a cheaper wheel when balancing them.
It should work for now but I don't plan on keeping them long term.

Planning to run an F-Body instrument cluster. Will be interesting to see how it fits under the exocet cowl, since its a little larger then miata gauges.

PSI standalone harness has arrived. Going to use a universal ignition switch, and wire the non-engine bits from scratch (lights, signals, battery, etc) since I'm not using any harnesses from a miata. Cluster will be an F-Body (02 Trans-Am) cluster with integrated coolant temp and oil pressure, easiest way to integrate everything since it will read rpm and speed from the magnum t-56.
Earlier this week got this from Exo: "There was a delay with the 1.5x1" tube stock we use on the front end of the car near the radiator and we have been told to expect the final parts in hand this week from the supplier. I'll send over the final invoice and some photos as soon as the car is through QC and ready to go to powder so we can nail down a good date for pickup"
So the car should be finished production hopefully today, or early next week - and then off to powder. My driver is going to pick the car up the second weekend of august hopefully, so once it arrives, things should come together very quickly. I hope to have it out on the racetrack before the end of the race season

After much delay, the final engine piece showed up from V8R. Still havent got the subframe. They're slow over there. Very very nice piece with an improved racing trapdoor baffle.

Front suspension done. New boots for the uppers, new joints for the lowers, fresh poly bushings and a good powerwash and repaint with VHT epoxy chassis paint, which is my new favorite rattle can paint. Turned out amazing. Will work on the rear half, uprights, and rear subframe tomorrow. Front tubular frame due fedex in wednesday from V8R - will also be assembling the engine, bell, trans, clutch on a pair of dollies for the chassis to drop onto when it shows up.

Hi Chris,
Your car is starting today! Floors are done and as soon as the top half starts to come together I'll send over some photos. Powder is here and you're the next car going in for powder coating. Can't wait to see how the transparent copper comes out.

I wanted something similar to Sunset Orange Metallic (SOM) a GM color they put on late Trans-Ams. It fit the bill, hopefully it turns out nice.

V8R subframe showed up today, so I started assembly, will finish tomorrow with the hubs and a basic alignment. Installed brand new eccentrics in the arms to go with the new paint and bushings. I want to kill the misinformation that long tubes don't fit. 30 seconds with a torch and a mallet around the mount and they're golden. (Upside down mockup view) No problem, mon.

Bottom flange isn't used on the QTP bellhousing since we have a sheet metal oil pan. It needs to be trimmed back to the structure of the thing so that the headers can pass through. Truthfullly, you could probably cut the whole bottom 180 ring off, but I haven't. (yet) Clutch is on, bell is on, putting headers back on and then mounting transmission right now. Bell is upside down in this photo, you can see the cuts to the flange. Smoothed with a flapper and painted black again.
