Installed insulation on the transmission tunnel. Also found a shift boot that I like. Still working on electrical though.   |

Steadfast, yes it is the same size and shape as the Racequip it is lined with heat shielding not just Nomex. that is the only difference.

tehjeffman, FYI it was only $80. I didn't go with the carbon-x version. The stock miata rubber shifter cover does not work with a RX-7 short shifter setup. |

Spent the evening finalizing the battery hold down and battery wiring. No more battery lugs! Before  And after  Hope to work on lighting tomorrow evening. |

I got the same stuff. 1/16th" thick for a 6x10' roll on eBay for $8 or something stupid cheap.
