How did the brakes go? Robert So far I was able to complete the rear brake and parking brake install. I got called into work over the weekend so still have the front lines to run did get the front calipers on though. Hope to have the brakes complete this week. Also planning on installing the steering column.

Wish me luck, going to try installing brakes tomorrow morning. Have no copper seals for the hollow screws on the calipers. going to try some metalelastic seals from work instead. This will be interesting to say the least. Using metalelastic seals is so overkill for brakes. We use these on the high pressure fuel systems. they are service rated to 35,000 psi. Known as 'Dowty Seals' in the UK. A couple of words of caution - make sure the rubber is compatable with brake fluid and watch out for dissimilar metal corrosion on the aluminium washers. I remember working on a vehicle recall to change corroded aluminium washers.

I looked up the spec on the seals today at work they are steel with an elastomeric insert of HNBR Nitrile. They are good for any petroleum product. The seals are originally sourced from our parent company's hydraulic department and are used on the high pressure side of the fuel injection system in MAN Common Rail Diesel Engines.

The PPF kit is the same one that is sold on Moss or Track Dog Racing. It is designed by a Guy from Tampa, Florida. I had it on the Miata Donor originally. I mainly reused it to cover my brake line, fuel line and electrical. Don't know yet if the brace will make a difference. I have the stock insulator cover but it just doesn't fit right with the short shifter. Considering using the over from Joe's Racing. www.joesracing.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=1132

What shortshifter is this again? The shifter is from Robert at Rotary Shack, he is in Chattsworth, CA. Robert makes the short model and a bent model. This is a very well made shifter, I have both stick versions the short and the bent. I really liked the bent in the Miata but I am trying the short for now in the Exocet. Robert is a one man shop so he is sometimes hard to get a hold of on the phone. Great guy to deal with. Here is what the bent shift looked like in the Miata

Any indication from Exomotive how may sets of panels are shipping per week at this point? Also, did you get your fender supports when you received your frame, or will those be shipping with the body panels (assuming you are getting fenders w/your panels)?

Kevin said my fender supports are in the delivery order. I will be waiting for the shock spacers but those are being powder coated to match my frame.
