hi everyone new here have just received kit from Southern Automotive out of Perth Hi Kiwiev Great to see a Sonic in Aus. I am in Perth and interested in one, but surprised to see how different the Aus chassis looks compared to original MEV unit- Heaps more members and diagonals- Perhaps the tubes are thinner though- do you know what the chassis you have weighs? Your EV ideas look good, what sort of performance are you targeting?

finally got 12 volt wiring done phew. Moved main electric contacts to a electrical box and put in a shut load to use to run fuel battery gauge. plumbed in brake lines and mounted master cylinders. Next job is to drill and tap grease nipples into suspension arms, then mount up with out body panels to do a few shake down runs.
