Those knock off rigid headlights are what I'm using and I absolutely love them!

Hey Geoff,
When you registered your Exo, did you have to provide receipts for parts beyond the chassis, engine and transmission? I'm debating how much to put into the car on initial build or wait until after registration, as it would increase the value of the car, and presumably the registration fees. I've never done the math so maybe it isn't significant enough to worry about it. In any case I'd appreciate your insight on this.
Regards,
Ken

I included everything, but DMV is interested in the final number to calculate all the taxes and fees to pay.

I am remote right now, and don't have access to my files (paper files at home). Long story short, they want to see it all. The easiest thing was I itemized it all for them. I had a nice thick stack of receipts, with the first page showing the grand total. If anything, the DMV wants to die by data. The more you have, and the easier it is for them to quickly understand it, the better.

Went out for a ride with the wife: Wife got a racequip helmet to cut down on roadnoise/hair whips. Didn't take much video as the card ran out of memory. Next on the to do list are new sticky tires and some track time!

I also ordered some plastidip in flat camo green to paint the body panels.

Looks like fun. With summer upon us, glad you are up and running...
Curious how that Plastidip works for you, and how the green looks.

My son (Charlie) plasti-dipped my BMW OD Green last year. Looks good. Avoid using spray can and instead use a HPLV sprayer for best results. Minimum of 6 coats. You will love it. \Robert

You will love it. \Robert cant stress this enough! I've gotten much much better results with their sprayer vs the cans. Plus it applies faster as you're spraying more product at once than from a can.

I also ordered some plastidip in flat camo green to paint the body panels. This makes me so sad Exact color I've been planning for my build...textured matte black frame, matte camo green body, and bronze wheels.

Exhaust really sound good nice setup. Was that the wife's oh nuts I am not to sure about this giggle.. When does your body get delivered and what color.. I was a little jerky on the clutch (need to adjust) and because of that would rip wheel a little, this results in a giggly wife. I have no clue on the body work. I'm waiting on the new version from Exomotive. I'm hoping they give preferntial treatment to those that have theirs done, vs those that are not yet finished. As for the color I'm going with RAL 9010 which is as close to championship white that I can get. Once I grow tired of that color I plan to wrap it in a flat green color. Something simiilar to this: Pepperinyoureye, your join date was August 2014. Above is my post from March 2014!

Fixed both the gas tank and the fenders today. For the gas tank I replaced the old filler hose with new. This new one is much more flexible than the previous one. I also replaced the old filler neck/cap with a non vented one from Perko.

In this post you mention that you went to a non-vented fill. Where did you run the vent hose?

On 99-00 gas tanks, there is no vent hose. We do have a roll-over valve which I stuck a small charcoal canister on.
