Have you thought of an alternative helmet that's lighter and has better visibility? I am toying with the idea of using my full face skydive helmet as its small and light. It would not offer much protection if I crashed but easier to drive with. Like this one. Image from pbs.twimg.com/media/BvsjqI_CIAAHDep.jpg.

This picture shows a better comparison of the two.

+1 donboy1983. I like using my skydiving helmet in the Exocet. It will not provide much protection in a crash, but the reduced weight and wind protection is amazing for sustained highway driving.

So met up with John and Luke yesterday for what was a really good day. Got a few photos of the cars but couldn't quite agree who had the faster car… All I'm going to say is a picture paints a thousand words... As soon as the cars were stopped Luke couldn't wait to be photographed in my car… I think john left him there to walk home !! Well thats my side of the events and I'm sticking to it. !

As he hasn't passed his test yet, then its only right that he gets to enjoy a car with a significant lower power to weight ratio than his dad's

Well in about 5 days jgilbert and I can reveal what we have been up to with our cars over the summer since we passed the iva test and got them registered. In the mean time I thought i should thank John publicly for my new key fob. So thanks John
