Can't help with the cars name but the screen looks very tidy. I'd be interested to know how much of a difference it makes at speed. And also how high you made it, as I'm looking into this after mine gets registered here in Aus

And also how high you made it, as I'm looking into this after mine gets registered here in Aus I does make a big difference at speed. You have to drive the car without one first though and then you will appreciate the difference it does make. It also stops the wind pressure on the underside of the bonnet lifting the back up slightly as the force from the top is now greater. How high to make it is an individual thing as the height would depend on the seats your using and how tall you are. When sat in my seats my eye line is just above the screen so I can see the road ahead without looking through the screen. When i made the template I made it quite high and then just cut it down slightly a couple of times until I was happy with the screen and I could see over the top. Laid flat mine is about 26cm ( 10 1/4" ) in the centre where it dips down and 28cm ( about 11" ) at the largest point. The outside edges are about 20cm ( 8") and when fitted to the car the highest point of the screen sits about 18cm ( 7" ) above the back edge of the bonnet ( Hood ) whilst the centre section sits at about 18cm ( 6" ).

I need a larger, more substantial screen and yours looks fantastic. What thickness screen did you choose and where did you buy the polycarbonate - was it a local supplier? I'm not too far from you in Petersfield
Thanks

It was made by a company in Southampton. the adjustment washers were made by an engineering company just round the corner from me. As your fairly close you are more than welcome to use the template etc to get one made. I'll message you as I don't think you can message people until your have at least 20 posts. Chris

Met up with Marc today who bought his car from Toed64. Had a drive nice around South Hampshire area with a final stop off point so I could pick up my son from Football. Loads of interest in the two cars everywhere we went. I think Marc is very pleased with his purchase but I recon we will see a few modifications being carried out in the future. Thats great thing about kit cars. Just because you don't build it your self doesn't mean you can't change thinks to make it your own. Sorry not many photos as we we're to busy driving and talking. Nice meeting you today Marc and may be we can get a few more southern located cars out next time.

Anything under 50 - 60mph but those bugs and small stone still really sting if they hit you in the face. The helmet is just looking after my good looks . I'll be turboing the car when the wife says I can… seriously though probably not for a while as we are moving house again in the next few months so that will have to come first. It's still fun just as it is.

The seats are already surprisingly very comfortable anyway. The only thing my wife said was in uncomfortable was the lack of padding on her back where her bra strap was. She is still yet to test these out but her reaction was "They're not padded seats!!! " oh well you can't please them all the time. ?

So now you add the bits of sleeping mat underneath AND buy her a sports bra!

Have you thought of an alternative helmet that's lighter and has better visibility? I am toying with the idea of using my full face skydive helmet as its small and light. It would not offer much protection if I crashed but easier to drive with. Like this one. Image from pbs.twimg.com/media/BvsjqI_CIAAHDep.jpg.
