Good luck with the msva Andy not that you will need it as your tR1ke looks great.
Have you made it so the brake bias bar cannot be adjusted for the test, I seam to remember rtr saying its somthing they pick up on. They put mine through with a sticker on the front of the tunnel warning that the brakes were adjustable.

Hi Kevin I have put some lock nuts on either side of the balance bar and I got that idea from your build pictures, thank you :-) so hopefully that will be ok though I haven't got any stickers to say its adjustable. Any other advice is greatly appreciated please I have been sat in the garage with the MSVA rules going from front to back trying to make sure all is ok.

I would put a warning sticker on the tunnel Andy, mine had the locknuts on for the test but that on its own wasn't enough so rtr made the sticker. I think without the sticker the ends of the bias bar have to be deformed or welded. I could be wrong so it might be worth a quick phone call.

Thanks for that Kevin I've looked all over the tinternet for a warning label with no luck so I e mailed RTR today to ask if they could help, hopefully they will either tell Me where to get one from or maybe let me buy one from them:-)

Yes that could be right paul, you would think it would be the same for the msva.

Thanks for the wording Paul and I've now learnt that we have a pretty label printer at work so do we think this will do?

I think you're right Paul the sticker for the fluid pots is iva only, we don't even have to fit a low fluid level warning light if the fluid pots can be seen without removing the bonnet.

Hi all Well I am very pleased to report I have passed my MSVA today :-)))))))) a bit chuffed oh yes I drove the 37 miles to Leighton Buzzard in some of the heaviest rain we have had for months through 2 floods that came rather close to coming in. There was only one small tweek that was to remove the rear most set of lights as the tester didn't like them that close together otherwise all good, it weighed 327kg with nearly full tanks and never missed a beat the whole journey apart from me with a very slightly heavy right foot ( its a bit lively with new tyres in the wet ) Many thanks for the advice from you all its helped loads
