Have a look at the tire selector thread. That'll cancel out any doubts.

So the kit is arriving mid to end of March - slight mix up on dates. But look what arrived today. two shiney new wheels! ;D ;D ;D In other news I've been busily making a gear lever & lots of cleaning & servicing. As well as trying to sell the R1 parts on eBay & dealing with all the daft requests

So for lights, im going for the all in one headlights so the fronts covered but im not sure about the rears, will the bullet type rears with the reflector in the middle do for MSVA mounted on the back of the roll bar, same postion as Venoms's. or is it easier to stick a pair of stop tail on a mount with the numberplate and seperate indicators on the back of the roll bar, like Kevins, i take it all options pass? also with the all in one headlight can i use the driving lights for the test or are they a fail? thanks

drl are ok for msva, mine passed with them on. nicks rear lights with centre reflectors are legal. download the msva bible for all the measurements for your lighting positions

I love Kevin's DRL lights, they look great at dusk, so bright, now my relay has fixed the light issue I may consider some, but I can always think of other things to spend that money on :-)

i really like the driving lights too and the whole look of the all in one lamp i just keep changing my mind on the back ones, i am currently leaning towards some rectangular stop/tail and indicate units for lotus 7's to try and keep it simple but i will probably change my mind again a few times before i buy :-) i would like to pass the MSVA without then wanting to change a load of stuff afterwards

The drl's are also a very good safety feature, I have noticed that people see you from way in the distance and for such a low vehicle with a small frontal area its got to be a good thing.
As for the rear lights I think nicks and Eric's are probably in a better position marking out the width of the tR1ke.
I only have the indicators at the widest part at the rear, my rear lights are led and they are bright and the brake lights very bright. My concern having all in 1 led lights at the front is being able to see the indicators with the drl's set at 100% Rik and Eric have added relays to reduce them to 50% when indicating. The problem with having led rear lights with indicators combined is can the indicator easily be seen when you have your brakes on.

Not sure if they are visable, however I replaced the front mudguard reflectors, I say replaced, they got knocked off, with some reflective ambulance battenberg stripe, much more reflective, and they fit the entire bottom of the wing, in white and green. The rear all in ones were my MSVA choice, I had some all in one LED strips fitted, but to be honest they were nowhere near as bright as my cheeseburgers. They look great on my trailer though, I still want some new headlights, as I never really liked the ones fitted, I have seen some Harley ones I may fit, nicer shape and a plastic housing.

I am thinking these on the back of the roll bar, but probably put them in my own mounting pod and then add stick on reflectors 👍
