It takes about 15 minutes to fuel the tR1ke. - 1 minute to do the actual fueling.
- 14 minutes for getting rid on a polite way of all the people intersted and wanting to have a talk....

The tR1ke has no front screen.
A fat fly crashing on your nose while driving 160km/h can hurt.

Very good Edwin ;D
Your video shows you wearing an open faced helmet, very cool but also very brave.

Gaining assertiveness (Inspired by Nic)
Friends, family, neighbors, colleagues will ask you to drive your tR1ke. Are you willing to give away your carefully build and 450 bhp/tonne car?
Or you have to gain assertiveness to say: NO, your are not going to drive it. You can come along, but you cannot drive it.

Rain... You really need scuba gear... Good issue. Protective cloating: Are you dressed for the situation? (all situations) Or are you dressed for the occasion? ( in proper style) I know its not a fashion show but I prefer a proper style. Sent from my GT-S5660 using proboards

I have a bag behind the passenger seat with a motorcycle rain suit, rain shoes and rain gloves... Also made lexan rain shields left and right inside the frame. I was once caught in severe rainfall and the problem wasn't the rain itself, but the water on the road... When you are in a normal car, and you drive through some water, you see the amount of water splashing away to the side. In a tR1ke, that amount of water also splashes to the center of the trike because there is no body to deflect it. And you will be sitting there. Believe me: I have never been under the Niagara Falls, but that day I experienced something similar...

Just watched Top Gear testing Xbow, Caterham and a Morgan reverse trike, although I am not a fan of Morgan trikes, it performed very well indeed. I love idiot car drivers telling me that my tr1ke would be better if it had a 4th wheel, what a load of shit, I never struggle to corner in it, Traction never really an issue, acceleration is mind blowing, braking excellent. People who only ever drive 4 wheel cars do make me chuckle, never having the balls to try something new and different....
Going somewhat off topic....
I do think at some stage I may look at fitting a removable roof of some sort, to allow me to have a full windscreen. Not sure how I will do this, I think I will have to fabricate some tubing with the nose off, coming from the rollbar, down to the dash crossbar, allowing a full perspex windscreen to be added, the angle should allow any rain to be areo-dynamically forced over it.
What do you all think?

- You must be sure it is very well mounted, - getting in and out will be hard, - not very easy to keep a clear view when it rains or when it gets dirty (no wipers), - the philosophy of the tr1ke will be gone.
But you do have some protection from wind and rain and aerodynamics will be a lot better.

I don't see why you need a roof to properly support a full windscreen; look at all of the convertibles out there.
