Because the weather is really %$%#@!!!! at the moment, I took some time to alter the grill. The original one is very weak and had already a lot of damage. Also, because of air resistance, it wasn't straight anymore. Took the nose off and found some damage because of speed bumps etc. I made some protection: Now, the nose looks like this:

I mounted a new set of headlights, the ones Erik an Slugshot also has. Good quality, perfect visibility! I swiched the 100/50% daytime running lights so that when activating an indicator, the DRL goes to 50%. Trying to upload a video at the moment: Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using proboards

Can't stop tinkering... I wasn't very pleased with this switch panel I made: So, I took some carbon fibre, epoxy resin and found a few sweet swiches. Did a little soldering and here is the result: It has glow-in-the-dark lights And when activated, the switches light about twice as much:

Here is the result of my efforts to make a decent switch panel: I also built xenon in the headlights. Looks very nice with the bright daylight running LED's!

It is a stock Yamaha R1 2004/2005 dash. The gear indicator is from Cartek and has integrated shift lights. The switches are from Trillogy.

Very smart Rik, can you show a pic of your headlights with the xenon beams if possible. Cheers Kevin
