Update on the MEV Owners day.
Having had many long conversations with Curborough about the event, they're not budging on their restrictions unless the Government change their advice, so as it's supposed to be happening in a month from now, it's too much of a gamble to start asking people to pay on the hope things will change, so we've taken the decision to move this event from Curborough and look at rescheduling back there in 2021.
The new location will be Blyton Race Circuit and will be run in conjunction with the team at Complete Kit Car magazine.
The date will be Sunday 6th September 2020 and as a MEV owner, we have negotiated a discount on the ticket price to be £120 for the first driver and £20 for each additional drivers (3 max)
The format will be an open pit lane, so head out whenever you want and do as many laps as you like. I'm still trying to twist Adam's arm to let us have a session of just MEVs but that's TBC.
We'll have out own space in the paddock area to show off the cars, and your car doesn't need to be registered or IVA'd, as long as it's roadworthy, all the important bits work and nothing's going to fall off or explode.
There's also the option to camp on Saturday evening which would be great as we can fire up the BBQs and crack open a few beers.
There are only 48 places for track time available, and can be booked here:
