I ordered the event in the MEV shop, but what is the deal with camping the night before? Is that included or do I need to book directly with the race course?

For camping, give Blyton a call but I believe you can just turn up and pitch up somewhere out of the way. Don’t think they're charging either.

I was reading their noise policy and started nodding off 😴 I eventually found a section which suggests there’s a single drive by microphone set back 20m and triggering at 95dB! www.blytonpark.co.uk/noise-policyHas anybody contacted them yet to Find out whether this is the case, or asked them how this typically compares with a static test at 1m and 45 degrees?? If nobody knows, I’ll give them a shout, as when properly measured, we’re itro: 109 dB 7k rpm (no baffle) 102 dB 7k rpm (with baffle) 🤫 Don’t want to show up and end up being thrown straight off the track!!

You'll be well safe with the baffle in, I've worn a groove around the place in my tR1ke and never been pulled for noise.

Updated the first post with the list of attendees, we’re accounting for 1/3 of all cars there! Going to be a great day and I think there’s still a couple of places left if anyone wants to come along. Spectators are FOC and we’ll have a couple of cars you can jump in for some crazy passenger laps

This will be my first track day and was wondering what people are doing about insurance? Best I’ve found is £97 for me including my plus one (£10k, £800 excess) with insuremytrackday.com . My normal insurer (Adrian Flux) wanted nearly twice that.

Thanks to Stewart for putting this together it was a great day.
Also thanks to his extended team who were on had for some valuable advice on race cars, race craft and all things Exocet.
I wont forget The Stig passing me in the new MK3, that car is going to sell very well sir!
Looking forwards to the next one.

There were a few Rockets and a few more Exocets (and loads of Lotus 7’s), I think there may have been a sonic... maybe. The pictures were taken during track time so they could be on the track or elsewhere in the paddock.
