Hope there's not an exocet crate next door to your rocket, they might might think they can start ww3. Maybe stuarts next model will be a rival to the ac cobra.. called the ... AK47. Being fair though, somalian pirates anagram reads...impartial season...based on that they be impartial to a bit of a ransom for the rocket my friend.

As the law stands you can book it in for an mot and drive it there, but it must be insured and does'nt need to be taxed. It does need to be in a road worthy condition to be in a position to be mot'ed, ie all body work fitted etc, if stopped your pretty well covered as long as it looks mot-able.

So its a fair distance to NZ, good job as the fair has only just finished in Nottingham. Robs rocket, could be derived as Robin, again a link with Nottingham. Merry men, also linked to Robin and Nottingham. Merry reminds me of Christmas, which is when you get your rocket. Rocket makes me think of Nov 5th the day it leaves the dock and New Year the time it arrives.

Just make sure that if there supplying for the exocet, you get confirmation that if some arts are missing when you start building, they will still supply foc. Steve

Hi guys, well done on the build start, i think there's a lot on here about the bushes, some have left the originals in, some have paid for the higher cost bushes, i was undecided at the time but then a set of flow flex cropped up on fleabay, wrongly purchased , got them for £60 and only 8 mile away. Fitted in ok without a vice, just abit of lube and a rubber mallet, just beware that if you burn all the bushes out, like i did... the shock bushes are not available from flow flex.. they cost me nearly the same cost as the rest of the kit. There were a number of threads on this middle of last year, i think the main concern from some moggers was that if you strip your own donor you tend to have more idea of where the electrics fit and so on. It did throw up a can of worms at the time, imo if you have a running donor you have all the parts so to speak, but that is not everyones point of view. Oops here we go again. Steve

The abs one's are the boot type that you see on the new cars, the foam filled are like the old ones on the 911s Steve

Try Miata.net Tire Size Calculator, this is useful if you plan on using a larger size wheel, by putting in your standard wheel and tyre size, it will allow you to calculate your new wheels for speedo accuracy. I went from standard 185/14s to 215/16s with only 1mph difference in the speedo reading. Steve
