Thanks for both your help, i think edwinwl your cooling system is slightly differant than mine, i took the 6mm pipe off the top of the thermostate and bled the system while it was running then kept shutting the engine off, letting it cool and topping up the resivoir, hopefully as edwinwl said this kept pushing the air out then taking coolant back in!
I think i just needed to take my time, was supprised the amount of air in the system
So with the cooling sorted i have done my first two miles without a breakdown , very good feeling , great fun but needed a cup of tea after. Waiting for the weather to clear for a longer test run, then to check over the tr1ke over again to make sure nothing has come lose etc, before i attempt to test it a bit harder.

So i have been having a fun few weeks been doing lots of test drives and tweaks and happy to say the tr1ke is going great, amazing fun to drive and very quick.
A special thanks has to go to slugshot who has spent two Sundays afternoons helping get things right, including the gear changer, handbrake, and a whole new clutch cable system which has solved the stalling problem. Also showing me how to drive the thing, slugshot will be one to watch both his build which will be very good and quick (I reckon he could do this in a couple of months) and also on the track he could give Paul from RTR a run for his money! (wish he mentioned he raced bikes before i let him drive, nearly needed new pants ).
Im sure slugshot was equally impressed with my distinct lack of knowledge and Aldi tool set
So have put together some pics of areas that seem to be discussed or I had issues with.

front shot showing light system, sidelights on the wings with indicators on top, proton lights as well, all supplied by RTR, bar the indicators which came of the donor bike. You can see the braided brake hose with a simple spacer a piece of tube with an electrical tie, works a treat

pedal system, the new clutch cable came from a venhill universal kit, plus a yamaha adjuster , and a m6x1.0 linkage clevis , with the Barnett clutch conversion it feels really nice now! and was defintaly the biggest headache, RTR change to the rear chasis was a great move.

rear light system and engine setup, indicators are on the roll bar section, the number plate holder has a combination light which sorts rear lights, brakes and a number plate light in one, again bought from RTR. you can see the main section of the wiring behind the left petroll tank where the batery is also held (this will get a cover on. on the right on the bulk head is my swirl pot, with a new fuel pump underneath (out of shot) and the orignal in the centre. Also i had to add a second breather to the left hand tank, i have just done this off the petrol cap (wether this would pass the MSVA i dont no) the overflow from the swirl pot goes onto the breather on this tank i hoped this would vent the tank but after a few miles it vacumed and was cutting the engine!

Cooling in the recent warm weather was an issue, the way the system is, does simply not work. So hopefully going to solve this once an for all, bought a breather tank kit with exspantion bottle from Car Builder Solutions (you cant get these online you have to give them a ring or get there cataluouge and its in there)
Pictures to come, happy brain farts

Hi Anglais, Can you be more specific? Is air trapping at the thermostat?

Two things i think were happening, air was been trapped at the thermostat but the persistant problem/consquence was the presure radiator cap spring compressed too easily pushing coolant out (roughly at the same time the fan kicked in). They are meant to be at the top of the system to be most effective stopping air traps etc but also i think it adds to the pressure been lower down.
several short term solutions, buy a presure radiator cap of a higher lbs rating, manual fan switch to try an keep it cooler . But i have opted to try and sort it out properly (again this was slugshots advice which has been brilliant so far)
The kit comes with a breather tank which has all the connections needed, fits near the themostate connecting into your breather tube an the 25mm radaitor hose near your front sproket via a T peice as well as few ither bits. Also it gives you a blank radiator cap to replace the origianal. looks a good kit but will be on show above the bulk head, cost in total around £100
I think/hope this will stop all heating problems ready for my track day im planning next mounth.

I remember that the demo tR1ke has a fan override switch. Are you disconnecting the original expansion tank?
Looking forward to your pictures!
