Update on the Vin removal, the Charlotte auto theft detective that contacted me was not very happy with me. Kept telling me he was going to charge me with a felony of a $1000 car that I own....... Moral of that story, I believe that removing vin tags may be a bad idea.

Ah so when I forget where I parked my car, its not my fault. I got it stolen from myself.
Makes sense.

Moral of that story, I believe that removing vin tags may be a bad idea. LOL I have the VIN tag off the dash and the title paper work. Had some meth head with a truck come pick it up for scrap and told him I had the title at home. Come back if you end up needing it and he never came back to the shop. Cop can eat a dick if they try to tell me anything about keeping my VIN for my kit. Depending on how you register your kit (in Texas at lest) one 1 way you need your old VIN and title and another you don't.

The scrapper that picked up my unibody asked for the title a week after he picked it up and I told him I needed it. He was fine with that and haven't heard anything since. Even got it re registered since then with no issues. Sergio (the guy with the F20 turbo swapped Exocet in Arlington) said he had no issues with it staying registered as a Miata when he was in his accident with it. Cops were like cool body kit lol

Fuel lines mounted, emergency brake installed and fully functional, and clutch bled/pressurized with no leaks.Today's plan is to finish measuring and fabricating seat mounts, finish building and installing brake lines/Wilwood prop valve. Also going to install the lift plates and pray for better steering clearance. Here's my confused face and my buddies Wtf face when trying to figure out the best way to scheme up the proportioning valve and front brakes.

I will send you photos tomorrow of the ultrshield mounts John (non Wags) made me. I think they are only the left and right side and he wants me to give him measurements on how far they are going to be apart to add the center H connecter. Picking up a Road Race VS Halo 10% off from smilies tomorrow. They are having a pre-season sale. www.smileysracing.com/news/?i=26772

So this just happened. Who would've thought the NB fuel pump wouldn't do anything unless you actually turned the motor over lol. Spent hours replacing fuses and relays, not to mention moving and triple checking every single ground on the whole car because the fuel pump was not making any noise when turning the key into the ON position. Whatever...It runs great and I'm ecstatic.

Sergio (the guy with the F20 turbo swapped Exocet in Arlington) Any links to a build thread or more information on the F20 turbo Exocet? Sounds like it would be an absolute monster!

Haven't updated this in a LOOOONGGG time. Made a lot of progress since the last post. I have added shock mount spacers from Exomotive which greatly increased the ground clearance. Had a few issues along the way up to this point. First, I've been chasing an electrical gremlin involving the charging system. Car would not receive a charge command signal to the alternator. I swapped alternators, ECUs, and pulled the harness to double and tripple check all 32 pages of wiring diagrams. Everything was as it should and still not getting a charge command signal. Had a few mechanic buddies over for hours and never figured it out. Having almost blown my brain out, I began looking for alternative solutions. I decided to purchase an NA alternator (Internally regulated vs ECU regulated) and wired it to switched 12...BOOM now I have a charging system that is working.
Also, since my last update I was able to snag a set of body work months ahead of my proposed delivery date (Thanks tehjeffman). Mounting the body work has been a bear of a task but getting over my fear of cutting into the panels helped quite a bit.
For the nose cone mounting I used Aerocatch mounts for the rear most mounts, quiklatch mini mounts for the front, and dzus fasteners for the side mounts. The fenders required a good bit of cut/adjust/cut/adjust to perfect the fitment with my 15x8 +0 Traklite Holeshots. The brackets required slight modifications as well to avoid strange angles and rubbing on the tires. The tank cover is my current project this week. Planning to mount using dzus fasteners but having issues with the fuel fill. Decided to cut my body as Steadfast did moving the fuel fill from the left to the right side. Not finding this to be an easy task due to the lack of body clearance and flexibility of the helix bound hose.
Finished fabricating a custom exhaust using 2.5" piping, 22" glass pack style resonator, and a hayabusa muffler. Update photos and video posted below.
