Hi, we keep the front and rear subframes complete with the beam that joins them together. Pic attached. The vin number is on an alloy plate that is rivoted to the tray under the wiper motor. Attachments:

So I'm assuming that alloy plate holding the vin number would keep it relatively easy to view? Excellent!
Thanks very much for that picture as well, as I'm a visual person.
Any status updates with LHD models?
Thanks again!

The windscreen issue is the only thing holding me back too. Is there any plans to release any sort of (full height) screen at all for the Exocet? If not, if there a standard generic seven style one that might fit?
After driving my Mojo for 3 years with a screen I'm not too sure I'm ready to lose that feature!
Trev.

Sorry I missed the screen point the first time it was mentioned. You will be delighted with how well a fly screen protects you from the elements. I have not had any flies stuck in my teeth for a long time. On the Exocet the dash is higher than the Sonic but a small plastic fly screen is all that is needed. I will look at a screen later and a soft top but it would be nice to see a photoshop version first. 7 ones are flat and would look poor on Exocet I think

Many many thanx to Lex, Nick and Bob for today at Santa Pod, they are nuts, absolutely amazing drivers though. They loved Exocet and could not believe it was running a standard engine. Just shows what happens when you lose over a third of a ton. Video clip to follow. www.driftracing.co.uk Attachments:

Thank kindly for the contact in the states. I have emailed to see if he will ship to the U.K Our car is stock. A 1.8 with 100,000 on it. No doubt many more horses can be had but I feel it's enough fun as is. We did cheat though! I put 60psi in the rears to get it to give in on the long fast bend. Naughty me, slap my wrist! Have to say I was delighted with it. Those guys have absolutely no mechanical sympathy and drive very hard, but the car can handle it with no issues at all. They assumed I had turbo'd it. But I just put it on a diet. Although moving the tank back a foot and using 32mm wheel spacers all round gave a better feel. The roll centre has also been lowered with the COG by raising the top mounts for the shocks. This has of course also lowered the roll axis but this has been kept at the same angle.
